Maintenance page

Refer this page to show maintenance page to users. You can use during your deployment/infra-upgrade activities.

Prerequisite#

You must have a domain configured on Nitrogen.
You must have a maintenance image/file uploaded on Nitrogen. Refer this article for the same.

Steps#

Click on Domains menu, then select Maintenance Page tab. Select appropriate domain from the domains dropdown.

Nitrogen Headers

Refer this page to change the Nitrogen header names to the ones used in your code using. This feature is useful when you are migrating to Nitrogen from similar service, and are using these headers.

Reordering rules

Using the steps given here, you can order the configured rules.
This is important as, Nitrogen matches the rules in the provided order. And, the first matched rule is applied.

Note: For demo purpose, we will be using www.nviztest.com domain as an example.
Here, we will be moving proxy everything else to n7- rule at the end. So that, it will match to all the requests that did not match other URL-specific proxy rules.

Rewrites

Refer this page to configure proxies for your domain requests. This feature is useful when you wish to keep request URL same but change the underlying handling endpoint.

Note: For demo purpose, we will be using www.nviztest.com domain as an example.
Here, we will be rewriting all requests to add n7- as a prefix before sending them to server, and for homepage we will add n7 as a prefix

Static Pages
